Engineering Technology
Two Year AST Degree Program 107 credits / 2,220 clock hours
Engineering Technology is the application of engineering principles and modern technology to help solve or prevent problems. The South Hills curriculum for this program includes Drafting, Mechanical CAD, Civil CAD, Architectural CAD, Solid Modeling, CNC Programming and Dimensional Metrology. Besides computer training, students focus on team building, math, and development of problem-solving skills. Graduates of the program are employed with civil and architectural engineering firms, manufacturing firms, and in various governmental agencies.
