Ingrid Thompson
Academic Affairs Officer

Ingrid Thompson has been an Academic Affairs Officer at South Hills School of Business & Technology since January 2014. Prior to that, Ingrid was the Mathematics Department Program Coordinator. She began her career as an instructor at South Hills in 1989. Ingrid graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics in December 1985 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administrative Management in December 1982.

Christine Sulouff is a graduate of South Hills School of Business & Technology. She gained experience working at another South Hills location in the areas of career/student services as well as academic affairs. Christine now serves as Academic Affairs Officer in State College.

Joy has worked as an administrative assistant for 11 years alongside working part-time for Penn State Transportation. Before then, she worked as a supervisor for over 20 years. When she's not working both jobs, she enjoys traveling and spending her free time with her son.

Robin Weikel has been the Bursar at South Hills since December 2010. A 1975 graduate of Susquehanna University, Robin has worked in the banking industry for 35 years before joining South Hills.

Trudy Musser
Assistant to the Bursar

Trudy Musser is a 1992 graduate of South Hills when it was known as South Hills Business School and has been employed at South Hills since August 1992. Trudy began her career here dividing her time working in both Financial Aid and as a Bursar’s Assistant until transitioning to her current role as the Assistant to the Bursar. In addition to her work here, Trudy has monitored the reading program for a private school and managed her own business.
Denny Lingenfelter
Director of Career Services & Recruitment
Denny Lingenfelter, a 1988 graduate of Penn State University, has been with South Hills since March 2006. Holding the position of Director of Career Services & Recruitment, his passion lies in guiding students and alumni towards their professional dreams. His focus includes cultivating strong partnerships with employers, ensuring that students gain access to optimal career pathways. Collaborating closely with students and alumni, he tailors unique strategies to help them make a lasting impression on potential employers.
Denny actively seeks occasions to connect with prospective students, sharing the advantages of pursuing higher education at South Hills. He finds gratification in his role, nurturing and sustaining affiliations with local high schools, community groups, and governmental entities.
Before joining South Hills, he served as the General Manager of Body Works Health & Fitness Center in State College, PA.

Tricia Turner
Assistant Director of Education

Tricia Turner received her BS Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the Pennsylvania State University in 1996 and is a 1999 graduate of the South Hills School of Business & Technology Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. While working in the clinical environment, Trish joined the South Hills faculty in 2002 where she teaches various topics including ergonomics, embryology, obstetrics, gynecology, abdomen, and vascular sonography. Trish was promoted to the Director of South Hills’ DMS Program in 2015 after serving as Assistant Director for the previous ten years. In January of 2023, she accepted the position of Assistant Director of Education for South Hills School in addition to her role as DMS Program Director. Tricia has contributed several chapters in various textbooks and has also been involved in various research where sonography was instrumental. She is passionate about giving back to the sonography profession and volunteers for various organizations including SDMS where she currently serves on the Nominating Committee. She also served in various positions within SDMS including chair of the Annual Conference Management Committee from 2015-2021. In 2021, Trish received fellowship membership at SDMS for her commitment to sonography and engagement with SDMS organization. Tricia also devotes time to Inteleos, “a global non-profit community of more than 145,000 medical professionals united in assuring that patients obtain the highest quality healthcare.” She has been volunteering with the organization since 2009 and currently serves on the Board of Directors as Secretary.

LeRoy Spicer has been the Director of Financial Aid since May 2019. Prior to that, he had been a Financial Aid Administrator at South Hills beginning in November 2010. He is the Point of Contact for the PA Fostering Independence Tuition Waiver Program.
LeRoy is a South Hills graduate two times over: in 1976 he graduated from the Business Administration—Accounting program, and in 2010 he graduated from the Health Information Technology program. Prior to working at South Hills, he worked for Cerro Metal Products in the cost accounting department for three decades.
Darla Gosa
Financial Aid Administrator

Darla Gosa joined the South Hills family as a Financial Aid Administrator in 2019. Darla has been a resident of the State College area for over 35 years, and graduated from South Hills’ Computer Plus program in 1993. She was previously employed at Nittany Settlement Company for 22 years, and has prior experience in the property management field.
Tammy McCoy
Assistant to the Director/Human Resources
Tammy G. McCoy has been the Assistant to the Director/Human Resources since January 2022. Tammy is a South Hills School of Business & Technology graduate, having earned a specialized associate degree in Administrative Professional. Upon graduation, she started with her internship at the Huck Institutes of Life Sciences, PSU. She came to us from the PSU College of Engineering, Administrative Support for the Civil and Environmental Department where she was the department liaison for both PSU Global Programs and PSU HR, having partnered to bring in visiting scholars from around the world, and collaborated hiring part time employees. She was a business owner, bringing with her over 14 years of exceptional skills in customer service and business management. She is a licensed Pennsylvania Cosmetology Teacher, with teaching experience in secondary/vocational theory and practical Instruction. Tammy is currently an active member of the Central Keystone Valley HR Professionals and SHRM. "Every day is a fresh start, stay positive, work hard, and make it happen!"
Kaitlin Goss
Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant
Kaitlin received her associates degree in Specialized Technology for Graphic Arts at South Hills School of Business & Technology in June, 2023. She interned with The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau prior to graduation, where she created brand illustrations and logo variations for different towns within Centre County. Two weeks before graduating from South Hills, she was hired as the full-time website and graphic designer for the South Hills Marketing Department.
Kaitlin created the permanent branding designs within South Hills State College and Altoona Campus. Kaitlin also serves as an advisor to South Hill's Graphic Arts students.
When she isn't working, Kaitlin devotes all of her free time to raising her two children and building her freelance graphic design business.

Barbara E. Chadick

Barbara E. Chadick has been with South Hills since July 2002.
Barb is a two-time alumna of South Hills School of Business & Technology, having earned specialized associate degrees in Business Administration—Management & Marketing in 1987 and Computer Information Systems (now called Information Technology) in 1998.
Barb previously served as Campus Director, Circle K Advisor, and Phi Beta Lambda Advisor for the Lewistown Campus until its closure in 2019, when she came to the State College Main Campus to fill the Director of Student Affairs & Community Development role. In the second half of 2020, she was named Director of Student and Career Services. Before joining the South Hills team, Barb worked in marketing and management for Danks Department store and as a Computer Network Administrator for SF & Company in State College.
Barb is an active part of the following local organizations: Board Secretary of the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce, Mifflin County Business & Education Committee, Mifflin County Academy of Science & Technology Advisory Board and Steering Committee, Mount Union High School Business Department Advisory Board, Juniata Valley Employer Advisory Council, and Lewistown Kiwanis.
