South Hills School of Business & Technology’s Natalie Beaver Receives ACCSC 2024 Outstanding Volunteer Award

South Hills School of Business & Technology is proud to announce that Natalie Beaver, Director of Education & Regulatory Affairs, was honored with the 2024 Outstanding Volunteer Award by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools & Colleges (ACCSC). The award was presented during the Professional Development Conference held last month in Long Beach, California.

The Outstanding Volunteer Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to career education through their commitment and support of the accreditation process. Natalie has been a dedicated volunteer with ACCSC since 2014, serving in multiple key roles, including Team Leader, Nominating Committee Member, and Appeals Panel Member. Dr. Michale McComis, ACCSC Executive Director, said of Natalie: “She is a star that shines brightly across every area she touches; we are fortunate to have her many contributions. We are also grateful that South Hills School of Business & Technology gives her the opportunity to make such a significant impact across vocational higher education.”

ACCSC, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, is the designated institutional accrediting body for more than 650 post-secondary, trade, and technical schools across the country, which collectively educate over 150,000 students in various vocational programs each year. South Hills School of Business & Technology has maintained continuous accreditation with ACCSC since 2017.

“I am incredibly honored to receive the ACCSC Outstanding Volunteer Award,” said Natalie Beaver. “Volunteering over the past ten years has been such a rewarding journey. I have had the opportunity to visit many incredible schools and witness firsthand the positive impact being made on students’ lives—well beyond the walls of our institutions.”
